Dr. Waleed Mirza is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon specializing in sports medicine, trauma, complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. With advanced training and a patient-focused philosophy, Dr. Mirza is dedicated to restoring mobility, function, and quality of life for patients of all ages.

He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree with honors from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, followed by a rigorous surgical residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center – where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Mirza uses the latest evidence-based techniques to treat a wide range of conditions, including Achilles tendon disorders, ankle sprains/instability, flat feet, bunions, hammertoes, arthritis, foot and ankle fractures, and limb salvage. Whether managing an acute injury or a chronic condition, he is committed to helping you get back on your feet utilizing individualized care plans that support recovery and long-term performance.

In his free time, Dr. Mirza enjoys playing basketball, weightlifting, traveling, and spending time with his wife, daughters and family.
